Understanding Bug Severity

Help us prioritize by indicating the impact of the issue.

Critical

Report Immediately

App unusable, data loss, or security risks.

Examples:

App won't open
Data deleted unexpectedly
Database corrupted

High

Priority Fix

Major feature broken, no easy workaround.

Examples:

Focus timer broken
Can't export data
Tracking stopped

Medium

Standard Fix

Feature partially broken, workaround exists.

Examples:

UI glitch
One app tracking wrong
Slow performance

Low

Minor Issue

Minor annoyance or cosmetic problem.

Typo in text
Icon misaligned

Writing an Effective Report

A good bug report is the fastest way to get a fix.

Describe clearly

Use the template: "When I [action], [unexpected thing] happens instead of [expected thing]."

Steps to Reproduce

List every click. We need to follow your steps to see the bug ourselves.

Include screenshots of errors. Note your operating system and Scolect version.
